Polish House PZKO

The local PZKO group (Polski Związek Kulturalno-Oświatowy – the Polish cultural and educational association) in Bocanovice, founded in 1947, got its own seat at the occasion of its 20th anniversary. The single-story building, located by the main street going through the urban area, was gradually repaired since 2000. The biggest modifications were made between 2019 and 2021, namely the change of wiring, the gas main and the central heating system, the complete reconstruction and modernization of the kitchen, main hall repairs, installation of thermal insulation, and a new facade. The Polish House's main hall allows the organization of dance parties for up to 30 people. When changed to a conference layout, the hall can easily accommodate 50 people. The Polish House is used for the local group’s everyday activities, but it can also be rented to private individuals. It’s the only clubhouse of this type in Bocanovice.
