House PZKO

Havířov - Bludovice

The PZKO House was founded in 1985 after the old „congregational house" was rebuilt. It employs a theatre hall for 200 people, social utility rooms and it's surrounded by a beautiful garden. The theatre hall with a dressing room and a stage, which is also accessible from the outside, is located on the ground floor, adjacent to the modernized kitchen and dining room. On the first floor, there is a branch of the local public library with a selection of Polish books, a smaller hall for 50 people, a kitchen, an office, and a storeroom. The basement holds a Youth club clubroom, which can accommodate approximately 40 people, with its own garden access. The garden itself can accommodate events for up to 500 people. Available for use, there is a stage, benches, and also three booths that can be used as sales booths during events. In case of bad weather, the attendees can find shelter under a pergola. Throughout the last few years, the PZKO invested in kitchen modernization and replaced the windows. The heating system reconstruction and the insulation of the main hall's roof are planned for the near future.
