The local PZKO group in Karviná – Ráj struggled with not having its own seat since its inception. They used their own houses to hold meetings and sessions. Due to the initiative of Franciszek Walica, Józef Owczarze, and Robert Ocisek, an old schoolhouse was purchased from the local committee in December 1966. Thanks to the selflessness of the PZKO members, their sympathizers, and the parents of local schoolchildren, the building was renovated and reconstructed, after which the PZKO House was ceremoniously opened in June 1967. The single-story building is located near the former Polish school and Saint Anne's chapel. In 2020, the committee initiated its modernization. In 2021, the bathrooms were renovated and more adjustments are planned. The PZKO House's hall can accommodate events for up to 80 people. There is also a big garden available with benches for 120 people. Besides the main hall, the building also includes a clubroom and a kitchen.
